  1. I like the wheels and lights... but that dash really is too rice for my liking...
  2. So that means you have it done yeti?!?!? Sweet... Mine's taller then yours:lol: When Rick had that setup, mine was huge compared to it... I probably won't bring my wagon unless things get crazy... My Rx is still in the running... once I get the driveshaft back tomorrow its just that, the exhaust and the wiring and I'm home free:banana:
  3. In the foreground there's a Silver badgeless WRX, an LGT and the third car is a WRC blue wagon with it's hood up. Just to the right off the hood, between the hood and the guy in the background, you can see the rear of my Rx. Edit: Late night photoshopping FTW
  4. Actually thats just the older ones... the ones of the XT-6 era are the more common flip back hood...
  5. pull your plugs... If one is gooey, its an injector... if all are it could be a ruptured regulator... Also do check that ignitor ground wire thingy under the dizzy.. I cannot remember if I had Noss replace it on that car or the 86, but thats also kinda prone to breaking but doesn't explain why the car would not start after the ECU reset. My vote is for a leaky injector... could find out which fuse(in the box) goes to the pump and pull it to shut the car off and see if that solves the problem... Second Gen RX-7's had such an injector issue that someone that owned my vert put in a switch that killed the fuel pump that you had to use to shut down the car, other wise it was a %$^#$ to start after you shut it down...
  6. Good Job Russ! Now you just need a running Subaru with a roof rack to use that on
  7. Prelude side skirts might fit, but you will have to right them to work... the cars have the same WB... Front and rear. NO. they will not. No other parts from a Prelude will work... the cars look the same, mostly at night, but the body panels are completely different. BTW I have a carbon fibber hood, it was cheap and easy to make:lol:
  8. Only if you take off all the badges except the "XT" ones... then weld your rear doors shut so its a "coupe"
  9. Ohhh! Swappage! Fun... you get everything that you needed to do it to it?
  10. Bob Dole hopefully will get the Rx running, but Bob Dole kinda doubts it. Bob Dole will probably pimp the XT FTW hopefully not sporting fender damage... Bob Dole Bob Dole Bob Dole Bob Dole Bob Dole
  11. I use a EA82T in the rear of my wagon for traction:banana:
  12. on the 87 sooberstition... My 87 SW is a great car. Bought it damn cheap, barely put money into it and have had almost no problems... except that tranny mount I broke, but thats hardly it's fault
  13. I cannot make it... wednesdays are just another working day for me:dead:
  14. I'd be down for an old school meet/drinking tour. Maybe the adults can get together and go have fun...
  15. There is no help for you Russ... Least not that anything under $100 an hour can solve:lol: I'd love to help, but I haven't been to the yards for months:dead:
  16. not 100%, but I don't think that he sells subbi stuff anymore....
  17. I'm running wal-terrain Liberators... great on the street, cheap as hell, last forever so far... but they don't grip the best.. They do good in mud or fresh snow... but gravel, packed snow, and dirt they kinda fall flat... I'm just a cheap arse is all...
  18. I agree and disagree... He should just put a PB in the car and run it that way in RWD.(4wd with no front axles) Thats makes all happy. I disagree that he's going to break it. This isn't a legacy transmission, the Rx and XT-6 FT transmission diff lock is built very tough. Its got a big metal-interlocking-teeth thing that will be very hard to break at stockish horsepower numbers.
  19. EA82 SPFI 1987, its leak free(from the engine at least) and my car runs LOTS of pressure... I have an aftermarket gauge that pegs out when its cold, but usually it'll "click" down to either 80 Psi or 60 Psi at high RPMs. At idle it runs about 20 or so IIRC
  20. Guess I'm neutering mine then:eek: EJ25>EA82T no matter, turbo or not, 55 more horsepower can't be wrong.
  21. WARNING!!Results not typical I have no idea how seafoam could possibly do that.. I kinda thought that the sender unit was sealed to some extent and did not get fuel inside of the electronic parts.:-\
