  1. That's lookin sweet with the bumper  how did you do your wiring?? and thats exactly what I want with my rig uberoo just dont know if that would be "too much" I think I might do what subiefreak was talking about hmmm..
  2. My 93 Loyale has not been running this whole winter due to it having some issues before it stopped running. Last time I drove the car I was at a stop light and it just died, at first I thought it ran out of gas but I was wrong it would struggle to start and finally catch for about enough time to get a grin out of me then die. I finally towed it home and thought my timing belts went out but they were not, now fast forward past all the snow (3 months) and now its comfortable whether to work on it outside (No garage , burned down couple years back ) Now I return back to the project, The roo half dis assembled. Back to putting it back together. I have my dads old wagon and have pretty much any part I was gonna turn mine into a 4x4 using all the parts from his gl, But first I rather get it running. Suggestions?? I was thinking maybe fuel pump or did my engine just go kaput? im not sure this has never happened to me before on a subaru
  3. Is there anyway you can re do the previous links for this swap?? they seem to be dead I'm very interested in doing this for my loyale's offroad lights Thanks in advance
  4. A good mud tire would be super swamper boggers I used those on my last rig and in the mud I was near unstoppable. I've only experimented with hancook snow tires on my Outback and those word wonders
  5. Sounds interesting what extra parts did you have? I think I have an idea on what. Sounds like a good idea I was gonna stash the second battery where the spare usually goes
  6. I was thinking of running a GM 130 A or 200A alt and a good battery,a big alt like that should be able to supply that much amps at low rpms...right?? If I did dual batteries with an isolated to keep the primary one form going dead.??
  7. What's the decent amount and whats straight over kill?? I've seen 8 on a rig myself and it had individual fuses and was not wired through the headlights. I have a goal to make a rescue car out of my loyale is it possible to run more than twelve? With dual battery, individual switches, single fuses on each light ext..?
  8. Hello from New Mexico! I just joined this site to get some advice and guidance for my project! And of course share the love for Subaru's New and old, I'm joining the Army and soon after that I will be in college majoring in EMS (Emergency Medical Services) Which brings me to my project. I've been working on since I got out of high school, I wanted to turn my Loyale into the ultimate rescue vehicle, I have all sketches and measurements just need the enlightenment and guidance (from the best) Hopefully this will be a journey Cheers from the mountains of New Mexico!

My project Loyale 2wd sedan (when it was running) was bone stock and it went pretty much anywhere I wanted it to. Climbed decent sand hills and in the snow it was ridiculous, I've had multiple people come up to me asking if it was a 4x4. Clearance sucked that's no doubt other that that A skid plate would be nice hahaha I have pictures of me My Roo somewhere around here on my computer..
