  1. No....this car isn't sold. but iv been building and swapping so many cars on the side lately I haven't hardly started on the harness merge...
  2. currently not running and waiting on EG33 swap, new trans, and 6" more lift OB struts 1" subtle solutions strut top spacers forester springs in the rear LT215/75R15 hankook dynapro m/t's lotsa other stuff. just cant think of it right now.
  3. get the intake and manifold and TB ported, then cat back exhaust, and a different intake set up. I have a an auto '97 with +250k and when I did all this with over sized tires launching with a brake torque I could spin a little.
  4. Thanks. iv always kinda been the loser. so knowing that iv inspired a couple people makes it that much better.
  5. alright. so as for the UEl i might have lost a tiny bit of low end torque but that's it. Idk about you guys but I got mine for $150ish off ebay new, sure its a replica, but I sure as hell aint gunna spend $300 on a header for an n/a. Then as for the snorkel it runs into the stock airbox, quick hp is to swap the tube from the filter box to the TB off a 2.2. they dont have that stupid box. just that and new breather hoses is all that entails. easy and cheap. Then to prevent anything big from coming in the end I actually have a shower drain insert glued in to keep stuff out.
  6. It's decided. i'm getting the 6" for mine now.
  7. weeelll. long time no update. blew the engine back in december and picked up another subie. an '05 RS for my d.d. so now it's saving time so I can swap an EG33 into this beast.
  8. mine is lifted almost 4" with no sub frame spacers. and I am not tearing through axles. my CV angle is quite low despite the 4" of lift.
  9. If you do welded diff you may want to look into trailering it to offroad events... just a thought. cause id hate for it to blow up before you even got there.
  10. How much was that crank pulley? and did you notice any vibrations in the car after. like at certain RPMs?
  11. White letters out for sure!!!! they look so plain when people do black out... So they will look like mine. i have the LT215/75R15 dynapro M/Ts on MB motoring wheels. 15x6.5 +38
  12. If they could make it to fit up to the subie rear diff. they would have a decent market here as long as they could keep cost decent.
  13. do et. you will just have to weld a 02 sensor bung into the pipe.
  14. Definetly not a total loss if you know how to cure a flooded engine....
  15. Well after messing with things and trying to get it running i can get it to idle all weird. But iv found out it needs a cylinder 1 injector. It is stuck open. It runs better with a vaccum leak. Then it also is running really rich. I have power and ground to it. Then I can't hear it with an extension like the others. And it runs the same plugged in or not.
  16. I got my car sunk in water and fried the ECU. It would run on 2 cylinders finally determined that it was the ECU. so I put one from an Outback in it. It started and idled at ~2k then would drop to 1200rpm and the check eng would come on with a P1507. and it would run rough. tried two different ignition modules and same problem. then I decided to take the IAC off and clean it and put the cone that goes behind it in there(I forgot it when assembling the engine). Then still did the same. so I took the top of the IAC off and messed with it a bit. now it doesn't idle and if it does it idles at ~450-500rpms....tried messing with it more and adjusting it and it wont change the idle. I NEED MY SUBIE RUNNING AGAIN! i miss it. any advice is helpful. thanks
  17. yup. check ur bolt put in. them make sure your crank pulley bolt is tight. they like to cause vibrations like you said. then pull up the carpet on the passenger side floor bored and make sure your ECU didn't get wet.
  18. we needed to get all 3 of our subies lined up for a picture.
  19. looks great dude! now we need a better pic of the grabbers.
  20. and 2.2's are almost bullet proof. you can take a 2.2 300k with no internal maintenance.
  21. YA I helped him throw them on today. Well i did. . Took about an hour for me in his driveway with my tools. And he was lookin at my CV angles also. . And mines Kinda hard to miss driving down then road. . Now that makes umm...2 lifted subies in the Madison area. . And Tom's is a 95 wagon. He says he's on here somewhere.....
  22. I can post some up later.
