GL will have 4 headlights, DL has 2. in 81 the difference was 1.8 to 1.6 engine, but i think that's just the trim level before that (before they started putting the 1.8 in there). does it have an ashtray and a tach? if yes, it's probably a GL and would have the 4 headlight grill. Also the panel (that's painted.. below the bumper) with have the bottom part of the headlight cut into it if it's the DL, will be straight on the top edge if not. Laura

As of now, i will be attending. I will have my turbo legacy, it's been done for a few months, and is pretty. it will have a "for sale" sign in it, and i'll try to get some company down there. if not, i'll be flying solo. Laura

ya me and the boy were gonna make it to vegas this summer but scratch that because of his wrecking the r6 with me on it. anyway, if i trusted him on a bike i'd be doing a similar pilgrimage (i don't trust my 65 honda trail 90 more than 10 miles). good luck and be safe. wear a helmet, and boots so you don't sprain your ankle.

glad to hear it was a sucess, someone knocked out my windshield 2 days after i dropped a fuel pump. i should stop talking; i'm one of those people "if it wasn't for bad luck i'd have no luck at all" no i don't need parts unless you have a good way of putting a front license plate on a virgin turbo bumper without removing the bumper (thus creating what will become bumper cracks)

I'm partial, because i work at NAPA and drive a 94 turbo legacy, to the Safety Stop Ceramix line. don't get the premium ceramics unless you want to eat your rotors, not on an older car like a t-leg. But yes, tlegs have slotted rotors, even, when n/a has the cheap kind (haha). ~Laura

I sent Kevin an email telling him to suggest what he needed and i would tell him if I had it (which i probably do....) but he sent me one requesting a list of what i had. My stuff isn't for sale, i have parts to build almost an entire 81 D/R 1800 brat, but for such a cool project i would be willing to contribute what i could spare, so I told him i had no list, only a chicken coop full of parts, and i never got any response. it's the piece that goes around the range selector and against the console. or at least looks like it.

if it were me, i'd smear it on something and taste it. sweet="radiator fluid" or antifreeze look for color too.. idk.. if it's leaking as much coolant as you say, filler up and watch her drip when it's idling. In addition to what they said^^ (yay subiesport) ~Laura.
