I've been to two yards that used to be my favorite to scout for nice parts and check out if I could mod something. Anyway both these yard will no longer let you walk around the yard anymore! I asked them why and they stated that it was too much a hasel and the cars were getting damaged. Duh it's where wrecked cars go to die. Is this comon now? are we as the customer nolonger aloud to walk into the grounds of a wrecking yard anymore? Sounds like this is the way the Man! sticks us with high price parts because they have to go get them, and you have to pay for there labor.

Welcome to the board, good to have you. in the spare parts dept. for me I have a tranny I bought from syrinx when he was on the west coast, that did not fit my car with out buying new parts, Oh well, that's life. I wish you good luck with the rear taillights, these are a chore to find. I'll look around the garage to see it I have anymore. Speaking of parts anyone have a spare steering wheel 81' brat? -
Looking for Gen 1 rollbar fog light
kingwill replied to Subieguy's topic in Historic Subaru Forum: 50's thru 70's
aren't these aftermarket lights? I used to own the low roll bar and now one of the high ones and neither of them came with lights. -
Cool chop job, question? Now that the lift gate is gone,, have you modifide it to a tailgate you can drop, or is it sealed up ???? What are you going to do when it rains? Are you going to make a custom canopy? Does the baja have a canopy? just thinking

Boy, I always thought the gen 1 brat was tiny compared to other soobs but this is the first time I've seen the car side by side to a 360 and they are huge in comparasin. I've always been a fan of the van. and chrysler says they invented the mini van.

This guy is selling this grill on ebay, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=4553311496&category=34204 Says it is a grill for a gen 1 brat, and he has no bids, I wrote to the guy and told him that he has a wagon or a hatch grill and the guy blew me off, No one bid last time and I doubt anyone will bid this time. Unless someone is looking for this grill which is miss marked. Yes I am having a pissy fit. I was trying to help him and he blew me off:mad:

What years did the GLF run? What was so special about the GLF over a GL? and Does anyone have pics of this car? Google really has no pics of a glf except in the (outback) which is 4wd and green Very nice and one some one tricked out with tinted windows and wheels. But I'm looking for other shots. Thanks Brad

Check the ground, make sure nothing is interfering with the conection, Sometimes this will make the speaker whine and crackle. Also good quality speakers have a higher range so your able to turn the volume up with less disortion.

Is this possible?? http://www.news.com.au/story/0,10117,15369579-421,00.html

Purple carpet, a clicker pen white and blue and some black plastic deal that looks like you would screw it down w/ two screws on that slant part and place a peice of something in the rear of it. OR a commination cup holder door stop, for all the real short people who need to hold open a door and keep there beverage from falling over behind the door. A great invention I say.

Really the tires would do that? ( I've always put tires on that were not flat, but matching tread,,,not ever) What about when stopped? should the car be rolling in a straight line?
