Stealth sub for 2000 Legacy Outback wagon needed...
Anyone in the Seattle/Olympia area know of a place or makes one themselves? I am a volunteer driver for Catholic Community Services and thus are taking lots of folks that have folding walkers and wheelchairs but with my MB Quart in a box in the back sometimes its very tough to put the walking device back there in a safe manner. Can't afford too much but at least i can find out if someone makes one in the area

What to lay down in back of wagon once carpet is gone?
Well, back to the drawing board as the subie has a blown head gasket:( Not only that but apparently the guy i bought from knew it as the car also has a brand new thermostat. So time to check out the pick-in-pull place to see what they will give me or if nothing else the scrap yard so we can recoup some of $ lost....

Bought 85 GL, question time....
Bought an 85 GL with 141k, has an auto with cruise and with the 4wd driveline removed, so only FWD which is fine. Have some questions... 1. Stick with factory Air and Oil filter? 2. Runs a bit hot, especially after cruising on the highway. Got off and slow down for a ramp or something and the gauge steadily moves up...bubble in radiator? Get a two row one? 3. Does this year have a problem with the fuel gauge? Filled up after I bought it and only showed a bit more then halfway on the gauge...the pump clicked off. 4. It has a really small center armrest/console. I seem to remember when I had one of these the same year many many years ago that i could substitute another one from another subie that sat much much higher.... 5. stay away from additives, except for sea foam? 6. pull a part and pick and pull are my friends? Also will have a want list in the classified section. Thanks!

Good news---Bad news
Good news----Well, once again Scoobywgn and crew came through and fixed the keyless entry problem with my legacy wgn... Bad news---on the way home we were rear-ended at an intersection. Car in front stopped, I stopped, guy in back didn't. Hit us doing about 35, bumper is toast as is the hatch, its jammed shut, really hope no frame or suspension damage as i really like this car At least no one was hurt, aches and stuff yes...tomorrow will tell...
