  1. problem is the car is my dd and i dont have a half day much less a full one to be futzing with the sunroof..especially since its suppose to rain off and on all week here in seattle..have had the car for over 3 weeks and ran it through the car wash a few times and it didnt leak...why now i wonder?
  2. but where the heck is the actual drain hole? i have stood over the car and stood up inside the car and out the roof and still cant see where the hole is...
  3. yay! got them, they were just very stubborn, in fact, looks like they were the original bulbs, car is a 1993 but only has 96k so very well could be the original ones anyway, good to go! thanks everyone!
  4. firstwagon but you had to take the headliner out right? if it makes a difference the deflector is attached
  5. so, pull towards back of car then i assume? dont want to break anything seeing as how i commute to and from work at night
  6. ok, going by the manual it says to remove electrical connector then the rubber boot...the writing on the boot says to >push<..well, i push and nothing happens, what the heck am i doing wrong? maybe i am way to tired to be doing this and trying to find drain plug holes
  7. have read the numerous threads about the sunroof leak problem and was going to try and clean out the drain holes but cant seem to find them? anyone have pics have where they are? i open the sunroof all the way but still cant seem them. also, the control doesnt work the way the owners manual says it should, when closing, i have to keep the button pushed the whole time, the manual says to push once and it will go half way, stop, and then you have to push it again...possible connection with the leak? dont see how but ya never know thanks!
  8. nipper you happen to have a part number or something? tried the subie parts sites i know and nothing comes up for it..
  9. does anyone know if the tire holder/black plastic thingie is the same for my 90-94??
  10. had to get an a/t because of my feet...it did have the air suspension but the bags went bad so it was converted over to kyb's
  11. all right! picked up my 93 ls legacy wgn this morning and love it! only has 96k too...new t-belt/tires/plugs-wires/alternator/headgaskets..has the electric antenna and sunroof/moonroof too...heck, it even has power steering and windows!! just need to find a drivers side rear tailight and one of those air deflector thingies for the rear window..... well, still need to sell my 86 wgn too though
  12. have triple treads on my wife's 96 outback and they are superb...very stable in the rain(important here in seattle) and very good dry too..a little noisey but not bad
  13. lets not forget the roof rack..i took the bars off mine, and just store them in the cargo area and gained btwn 2-3 mpg! have to like that
  14. just go to the junkyard/pap...lots of them there
  15. probably not much, its the shipping that will be a pain as i have yet to find a box to fit it
  16. what color are you after? i have a nice blue one for a wgn here in the tacoma area..
  17. these arent on your short list but my wife runs the goodyear triple treds on her legacy outback here in seattle and i tell ya those things stick like glue...they tend to have a little road noise as they are a 90,000 tire apparently but to me and her its worth the tradeoff here in rainy seattle
  18. well, its not in colorado springs but in denver, mike at s-wings stuff is superb along with his crew...took my subie there for more years then i care to remember
