conversion
I agree I just pulled the multi port fuel injection engine out of my 86 rx as of right now I am in the middle of doing my own EJ swap the multi port fuel injection on a 1.8L doesn't give you that much more power as I change the block to a non turbo block and eliminated the turbo it was much more efficient but still not that much more power then the standard throttle body injection

Another 2wd to four wheel conversion...
No I just did a 92 loyal 4 door sedan 5 speed front wheel drive car Just converted it over to dual range 4WD and I had to drill out the holes as my picture shows so I can hang the rear diff as for the carrier bearing yes I cut the ones of the parts car installed the rear end and the transmission obviously first bolted the tabs to the carrier bearing lifted the drive line up and held it with a jack stand and tack weld in the tabs into place and then finished it off with the complete weld all the way around

2.2 cylinder head?@@
angerthis replied to angerthis's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXSo you think its the exhaust valve I'm almost certain that's what it is? I did a leak down test I heard no air coming back from the intake nor did I hear anything coming out of the oil dipstick it definitely sounds like it's coming out the exhaust I think more likely it's only one or two of them?
-
2.2 cylinder head?@@
Is the common for a 92 EJ 2.2 liter To burn an exhaust valve on number 1 cylinder because this car I just picked up hase 0 compression i the number one cylinder And 150 and all the rest Check the timing its good just fouls out number one spark plug or is it a slim chance that valve stuck or broken spring?

another parking light issue
Okay I just picked up a 92 Legacy Wagon And the parking lights stay on not just a couple of them all of them yes I do know about the switch on the steering column the threads I have read about it state possibly the switch itself is no good is this correct? Please let me know what else to look for before I go to tearing in to my steering column in swapping it out when it could be something super easy

Another 2wd to four wheel conversion...
Dont forget about drilling for holes to hang the rear diff i just drilled straight up into the trunk and used long bolts through the trunk to the diff brackets as you can see in the photo little dimples is where you got to drill at in the unibody
