  1. Wow dude sweet build you’re way deeper than I am. Keep up the good work.
  2. I’m slowly tackling almost everything. To be honest I don’t think I’ll do the whole undercarriage I just don’t have the resources for that.
  3. What the rear looks like currently I’m gonna start tearing it apart next luckily I’m only doing shocks and painting and sanding back here. It should not take nearly as long as the front has....
  4. The pretty newly painted rear spoiler
  5. The new and improved front wheel wells lol I think I’m also going to do that shifter bushing upgrade I read about on this forum somewhere while I’m doing all this other stuff
  6. And all cleaned up and painted
  7. Bringing the front skid plate bar back to life
  8. Before being put on the chopping block
  9. After the fender trimming and front end clean up
  10. Okay so much to update you guys on. So what I thought was a shocks, struts, tie rod(inner and outer) and ball joints job turned into a brake lines in the front, parking brake cable, rotors in the front, pads in the front, tie rods(inner and outer), ball joints, bearings, seals, shocks, struts, steering stabilizer bellows, passenger side cv axle and a lift kit job. Once I started tearing it all apart I realized all of that was either bad or close to needing replacement so I just am doing all of it at once figured why not right? Anyways so I’m in the middle of that and am currently waiting on the bearings and lift kit to come in to put it all together in the main time I’ve replaced almost everything else on that list, sanded down the fender wells and painted them, cut the front fenders, finished deleting the smog pump stuff, painted and sanded down the front end, finally repainted my rear spoiler and I think that’s it. Pics of all this progress to follow
  11. All the new/ cleaned up parts. Just waiting on EVEN MORE PARTS
  12. Little update finally got around to cleaning up the hubs and knuckles and spraying them to help against rust today because it was somewhat decent out. Also started putting the new struts together trying to get the ball rolling on the suspension stuff I’m doing so I can be done with it and focus on the EJ swap that’s also approaching! I’m waiting on brake lines and brakes and seals and bearings right now because once I got in there and tore everything apart I realized that all of that needed to be replaced or was close to needing it so might as well do it while I’m there right? That’s just how my mind works anyways might as well spend a little more and take the little bit more time if you can and do it once and do it right.
  13. Sounds to me like the timing is too retarted for the engine to crank over if everything else is perfect. Make sure you put the cam gears back on right and pulleys and I’d just take the timing belt out and fully redo it to make sure it’s dead on. Subarus are finicky
  14. It’s starting this is the before pic before it gets all new and pretty
  15. And another from that weekend.
  16. Here’s a picture from the adventure weekend that I broke my exhaust and officially tired my suspension out. It was an amazing weekend we will be going back to these hot springs.
  17. Here’s the new roof rack. And her new spot in the garage for the next little bit while I install and fix some more things!! I’ve been toying with the idea of a snorkel so if any of you guys have more knowledge on ones that work the best or what have you I’d love to hear it.
  18. Evening everyone following the build. I have a few updates!! Alrighty so I have officially ordered all new suspension and that should be arriving any day now so that’ll all be fixed a friend of mine also recently wrx swapped his 93 legacy so he had an OBD1 2.2 sitting there with motor mounts, an air box and a complete wiring harness with ecu. That being said I got an amazing deal on it all and I’m officially going to start the swap process (insert super happy screaming and girly jumping up and down here). I’m no wiring guru so I’m having SJR trim my harness for me. I also bought other little things for my car too that I’ll be installing. I’m so in love with this car I can’t wait!!!
