  3.      how can they do that to that near mint condition GL sedan. psst. its a GL not a glf. lets have a moment of silence for that poor little suby.
  4. hey turbone Brian is in Sacramento not San Jose. hey noah if you're coming up I-5 you'll pass by stockton. i live no farther than a mile from i-5. you're gonna pass super close to me!!!
  5. (ahem) anyway i just wish i could do that with my wagon. now back to drooling ----------------> :slobber:
  6. what do you mean? what engine does it have? ej22 or ea82t? but that suby sounds juicy.
  7. well this is a bigger engine than you vw. oh and you need to post this in the new generation of subarus forum. anyway that is probally the answer.
  8. finally!!!! we have been waiting forever to hear that the RX is on the road. don't worry!!!! it wont blow up in the next week that you said. or will it blow up? that is the question. well have to see.
  9. wow Connie is gonna be very happy!!! sure wish my wagon had that milage
  10. Design of the wagons. i prefer the 85-89 GLs but i will also consider the 90-94 Loyales too. oh and the engine interchangability and durability of the car itself. just to be specific i like everything thats why i prefer old school subies.
  11. that's why i see no point in that handle thingy
  12. thats alot of work!!! but i bet its worth it all
  13. is there any rewiring involved? and what parts do you need for the lowering?
  14. yeah!!! i'm not the only one with the idea of lowering my suby: with the difference that mine is a GL wagon. hey caboobaroo, what is needed to go from carbed ea82 to EA82T?
  15. the DVD system is still not for sure. i was looking into all the electrical problems i might have so that is out of the question as of now.
  16. yes they do. my dad's 82' pickup does that. the new Toyota trucks don't. that handle thingy is for like to prevent you from locking your keys inside. supposedly
  17. i know. its because i was bored like a rock. anyway..............no i'm not gonna sing i'll be off to see what other new posts have come up.
  18. nice score!!! yeah a little fender shaving will help alot. but on top of all it looks sweet!!!
  19. well after 2 mos. since we did the reseal job, this car has been running like never before. i have big plans for it. i plan to get it lowered, yes LOWERED, stick a sound system in it, possibly a rear DVD entertainment system,5-lug conversion, do an ej swap if the "smog devils" let me, if not then an ea82T will work just fine, thats just a few of the things that i can think of now. oh yeah a keyless entry alarm system since i got power door locks. why am i telling you this?.......cuz' i'm bored thats why!!! (singing) i'm all alone there's no one here beside me!!! dang i sing good!!!!
  20. ooo...Nicaragua!!!! my dad is from there. he came here in 84' and became a citizen in 1998. anyway congrats on your fix. my dad broke his key the other day in my wagon but lucky for him he took it out with his finger since the broken 1/2 was still sticking out.
  21. what made me buy a suby? ha! i got it free! yes, free. i'd buy another one too!!! but no moola $$$
  22. my .02 on this. i just might be a bad carb. we have had several vehicles with the same problem (not subaru though). but whatever it is. it sounds strange to me.
