well i took another pic of my subie but i used my camera phone in night mode. the pic is bigger but kinda fuzzy though. check it out its only the front though.

cuz it has a crappy carb. when he drives it it smokes like a freight train and gets abou 5 mpg.

do it fast. i just did one myself two weeks ago. but i waited a year to reseal mine.

hey what do think of this. my dad wants to use my suby for a paper route. i'm kinda you know upset because i know that that kills these cars. i don't know may be i'm exaggerating or something (don't know how to spell). what do you think?

well great news! he is running like a champ. no vapor or smoke. nothing like that! yes i'm so happy. now i have to find a way to post good pics of it. also added water to the radiator like its supposed to have. thanks everyone for your help. and a special thanks to rallyruss for his help on the steam situation. and to richierich for helping me with the parts for the reseal. we actually ran it to the corner just a while ago. what happen is that we didn't do a 50/50 mix with the radiator. so i 'm assuming that that might be the culprit. *cough* help *cough*

sorry if i didn't specify. but we did a front reseal (crankshaft seals.) the smoke that comes out is odorless. i doubt its the headgasket cuz the car sat for a year before this job was done. there's no oil deposits in the exhaust so its not oil either. HELP PLEASE!

hey guys i need 911 help with my suby! here's whats happening, today we did a reseal job and the car is running but yeah there's a but the car spews a lot of vapor even with the engine at normal temp. it is kinda chilly out to nite but not that cold. the car sat for about a year out in my driveway before moving it into my garage. im assuming that there is moisture in the exaust or something. but please help before my dad sends it to the grave.

well after 9 mos of being a member here i finally got a pic of my suby.i got only the front and its a bit small but i think it will do well. take a look below:btw thats me on the side of the car

after many months of waiting i finally got around to doing that front reseal job that i had been waiting to do. it wasn't easy with out a few curse words from my dad. it was frustrating because two bolts on the bottom of the timing covers were striped. one was on the drivers side and the other one was on the passengers side. what we did was we had to hack at the plastic to punch the bolts out. so that was my day today. we did'nt quite finish because it got dark on us early so i plan to continue on Monday since tomorrow we're busy. how many days does it take to finish the job?

okay so to day at around noon i get an email on my cellphone and when i go read it it was soa inviting me to a VIP presentation for a 2006 line up intro show in my area! i was surprised because i did'nt remember giving them my email address. but wow VIP? now that's nice! so how many of you have gotten something similar?

hmm...i had the same problem with my wagon so what i did is i took out the jack and pulled out the hose that leads out to the tailgate. there it has a little thing that looks like a small metal ball. check that because it might be stuck. use something thin to move it. if its stuck it should move when you punch it with the pin. my two cemts on the matter. but yeah check that out i'm pretty sure that that's what it is. later!
