  1. hey welcome to the boards by the way is that you in the avatar? anyway sure hope that you stick around. its great to have another hispanic on the boards. cuidate y espero que disfrutes tu GL del 87' . (translation---> take care and i hope that you enjoy your 87' GL) if you guys ask its because my parents are from central america (Nicaragua) ( i was born here in the US in California) but the main language at our house is spanish. if any of you want to know a few spanish words let me know!!! no bad words though
  2. Okay, i don't see anything coming soon. please E-MAIL me when something comes up. don't pm me cuz i'm gonna be off for a while .
  3. well i've been waiting on what you guys decide. Mt. Hamilton? is nice cuz' we wouldn't mind the drive to San Jose. the problem is if my wagon will make it up or not. the last time we went up there was in my dad's Toyota Tacoma Double Cab (4fulldoors) he used to have and after seeing the climb i don't know if my suby will make it. i wonder if i would make it up with out breaking down . Napa sounds good no big climbs.
  4. okay right now i have to log off for the night. so while i'm gone i'm gonna check under my hood and also my repair manual. i'll see what i can do . man GD beat me to it also!!!!
  5. YOU'RE WELCOME !!! okay send them to my house!!! if you were serious bout' the cookies send me a PM so that i can give you my address.
  6. mmm....chocolate chip cookies . i'm pretty sure that its a hose. the back panel (where the dash is mounted) is called the fire wall. if you look at the engine bay from the front of the car, the "wall" behind the spare tire is the fire wall. sure hope this helps (hope i get those cookies too ). let me know if it helps or not that way i can post a pic for you. well might as well add those pics to help you out. these are the two up close angles and the full view of the firewall from the front of the car.
  7. yeah it should. if you have a "break" along the outer side then it does just give it a firm but gentle push toward the back.
  8. so the other day i walk past my wagon and my pants got caught on the rear view mirror. the mirror moved forward and when i saw it i was about to cry cuz i "broke" it . but then for some reason i push it backward and it popped back into place then right there i pushed it back with a gentle but firm push and guess what i have folding mirrors just like the new subies do. my wagon is an 85' GL. so now that i have this topic how many of you have folding rear view mirrors on your ea82 subies?
  9. well the family is in just let me know exactly when.

  19. yeah i went though oakland on 580 the other day on my way to the bay bridge and gosh that downtown has a lot of hills. stockton is flat and if you have been here before you know what i'm talking about. ha there's a saying here in stockton that goes like this, "in stockton there are more cows than people" . now san jose, gosh i miss san jose anyway san jose is not that hilly though.
  20. well i found a way to make my radio work temporaly while i get new speaker wires . i took out the speaker harness so that every time i start it i pull the connector and plug it back in. that makes it sound and it sounds nice. i cant play it too loud or i'll have to "reset" the speakers. so with that update thanks for all your help guys. i'll keep you posted.
  21. ha not all of the bay area. okay SF and oakland might, but not san jose .
