wow 55-60 mph??? these cars look to be pretty safe in high speed frontal collisions. this suby fared very well. ha and driving on its oun after being wounded severely, its wat makes a subaru a subaru.

so that clutch is wat u hear when u turn on the A/C den. rite??? correct me if im wrong. please. just to be sure this fan has nothing to do with the engine's cooling system or does it?

clutch fan. hmmm....the car is an ea82 and it has a stock A/C unit. wat do u mean by clutch fan? sorry for ma ignorance in this situation

ey everyone i kno i hardly post problems with my 85' GL but here's a new one. i got home today and i held the ignition in accessories for a few mins and the A/C fan kept running without the A/C being on. i turned the key off and the fan turned off. then to be sure i turned the key back to acc and the fan came back on. can anyone clue me in as to wats going on? i disconnected the power supply to that fan but i left the cooling fan alone. this is in my 85' GL wagon.

ha a cat?!? my mom's little maltese puppy has muddy paw prints on my GL. since its lite blue u can hella see it too.

here's what i think if u take care of ur suby early in its life and thru out its entire life better said then he will live forever. on the other side if u treat ur suby like crap in its infant years (u kno let him fall and not help him up) then he will pass away very early but not without making ur life impossible first. i would check how good that suby was treated and yea offer him 100 bux if u feel its rite. he has to accept if he wants to get rid of it.

k first things first if its a n/a ea82 then u will tick on the way up. thats what makes a subaru a subaru. my opinion is do what the other guys have told u but alittle word of thought, try not to force ur suby to climb. just merge into the right most lane and take ur time with it. as for the last question just baby her home up the hill. once u get over the hill then just drive it normally. trust me the voice of experince is telling this

i kinda was thinkin the headlite switch but wasn't sure bout it. nice avater btw^^^^

also the head lights go off and when that happens i wiggle the switch and they come back on but the nite lights on da dash stay off

ok so my 85' GL has a weird problem. the dash lites u know the one that come on at nite usually dont lite up. but within the past month they have lit up twice for like a few hours then gradually dim away. the question here is why when i accelerate the lites get brighter and when i idle the engine they get dim and eventually turn off and dont come on for like days somtimes weeks at a time. its like a special effects dimmer. can any one clue me in as to whats going on? i need them on for two reasons, i need them (obviously) and 2 they have the sickest color, amber on white numbers. HELP!!!!
