Bike rack for outback, help needed!
Andyjo replied to willmartel's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXI've had WELL over 200 lbs on my hitch before (read 24" sailboat) i wouldn't worry too much about it, if you want.. just use some rachet straps, they'll be able to give you a little more nut than trying to tie to... or use a truckers hitch Just remember a few things... the roof racks arn't ment for that sort of force really (down & back), and when you hit bumps, there is alot more force going to be on the back that usual... but whatever, factors of saftey are there for a reason... keeping people who push the limits alive

Could i just ground out the one? soo.. take the existing sensor i have, put it in that hole (as to plug the hole), and ground it out? and just ground out the 2nd one as well ? And by grounding out.. you mean taking the leadin wire of the sensor, and just slap it to ground? so there's no resistance? seems like stuff would short out... or did i read that completely wrong? only problem i have is that i don't feel like poping a new hole in front of the cat & threading it... or whatever i'd have to do to get a sensor there...

Ej 5speed-welding center diff?
fwd impreza axles work. and there's d/r's all over the place up here you'd also need an adapter plate.. a different flywheel (or have yours re-drilled), and figure out a read drive shaft... either weld em together, or have a custom one built.

Ej 5speed-welding center diff?
Well.. as it is, i don't think you could do it... because well... viscous things don't weld well.... As for a shaft... to make your subi RWD... why..... do you have another car to drive? because i don't think you want to be messing w/ the awd that much...

Cargo carrier for Forester?
Andyjo replied to Bobbie's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXYeah, i've actually gotten the best milage out of my OBS w/ the box on it... wierd... i found that mine isn't 100% waterproof more like 98.6%... when we had rediculous rain here, some actually leaked in through the rivits!! but that was also like.. 10 days of severe rain... and my box has had some serious abuse... I'm just going to put some silicon on them when i get a chance.. should fix the problem.

Here's the exhaust Looks like 1 Cat, and 1 sensor... where as my OBS has 2 cats, and 2 sensors.. i guess i'll have to figure out something.... any ideas anyone?

have someone weld a 1/2" plate to your unibody, and put a hole in it for a shackle...
