  3. i'd help but the death wedge wouldn't make and i lack experance also do we have a definate date set yet?
  4. wow maybe i should restore a brat, they seem to age better than fine wine
  5. i believe it. i have a 94 s-10blazer i beat the living ************ out of that truck it has seen 4ft of air on more than one occasion and it's still going strong with 192,000 on it now thats a miricile the 3.1 is junk
  6. i normally hate to agree with phil but i have no idea what your point was
  7. funny gd but no kits exist you could probably fab somthing with a little enginuity
  8. bull ************ you pulled a reck less manover nearly missed a sign and there was insufficient space between you and the car behind you for me to get in ricer
  9. mike you weren't there you blew a hg so stfu suddenly all his mechinical problems causes become clear:eek:
  10. i eman the area inside where the cap seals that was causing phils rx to over heat i know whatr he finally tried that worked was going up to a sixteen psi radatior cap
  11. did you clean all the crap under the radiator cap out the crud that builds up on the sealing surface sometimes causes over heating
  12. ya but at least my car didn't blow up there like both of yours. might want to talk to your mechanic about that one
  13. phil stick this in your pipe and smoke it i have a stock xt-6 with a magnaflow exhaust and no chrome. you have a stock xt-6 with a chrome rice pipe ricer brand intake with ricer brand filter and your car has been lowerd and is painted rattle can yellow so who's the ricer here?
  14. as far as i know evrey thing is plug ang play on the ej series motors but i could be wrong
  15. okay turbo car axels have the same spline count as an xt-6 there for they will fit n/a axels have a different spline count so you will need new axels tha na clutch is designed to handle 90 hp your effectivly doubleing that no way it can handle it. the turbo clutch may handle it but your still exceeding it's limits and it's not going to last, or grip well at all. aside form the axles it's all common sense
  16. #3: no #1: probably not #2: it will probably fit but on the clutch it is a pay now or pay later if you go the cheap way it will wear out very very fast and you will have to do it again, it doesn't reffer in any way to how you drive. the clutch was simply not ment to handle that kind of power the er27 puts out 40 more horspower and about the same in torque than the ea82t does. all i'm saying is no the plain clutch will not hold the power, the turbo clutch may but i'd be suprised if it lasted more then 7-10k. and the expensive way is to get an xt-6 fly wheel and clutch lighter and capable of handleing the power better.
  17. i have a luc repset in my ft4wd xt6 it's starting to lose it's grip but thats with it being my daily driver through rush hr traffic with me doing 5k clutch dumps almost daily for the last eight months driving 20+ miles a day in rush hr traffic. it has like25,000 miles on it and it still grips fine it's not chirping all four tires going into second anymore but it still has plenty of grip edit: this clutch cost 106 somthing about a year ago
  18. that isn't the doom wagon is it? edit: never mind i just watched the video doh:banghead:
  19. so your giving up on the rx?
  20. okay my speedometer does not work but in my 89 xt-6 5spd i got it to 5500 in fifth all i know was i was hauling rump roast and as soon as i noticed i slowed down i was just curiouse how fast that is with the 3.9 final drive ratio on stock tires
