  6. gary, whats the weather like where you live because here in colorado on days where it is 20 degrees or less it is very difficult to shift for the first ten to twenty minutes

  10. the h-6 rules the xt-6 motor is just a standard 4 banger with two more cylenders they have about the same problems and are about the same difficulty to work on\ they are also allot more powerful okay so it's like 140 hp for the er27(xt-6 motor)vrs the 90hp for the non turbo ea82(wagon motor)i think thats about right
  11. i ment backfireing is going to be a problem because if you mount the carb before the turbo the turbo is going to detonate when it warms up and if you mount it after it may cause problems because carbs are ment to suck not be blown into either way if it works i want pics also i'd like to see a vid of a carbie turbo
  12. where do they sell redline? i am doing a tranny swap this weekend and plan to try it
  13. sea foam is awsome i ran some through the engine on my six it ran great better than it has the entire time i have owned it i ran it through the break booster line not in the oil it sure cleaned it up i plan to do it again after i fix the tranny
  14. the problem with carburated turbo is backfiring fuel pressure etc but other than that it would be pretty cool toi see and i for one want to hear what kind of power you could make

  18. if you're going to mess with boost you need to intercool it first also welcome finally try a can of seafoam it should get rid of the ticking
  19. boosted balls is right a leak after is no big deal
  20. hell yes looks like it was just driven off the lot if you win you have to donate half to the board
  21. definatly a turbo for more power and i believe that the spfi manifold off an ea82 will bolt up with minor modification
