So will the optima handle running offroad lights and a nice sound system for a fairly long peroid of time at low speeds or idle? How do they handle running a sound system with the car off for a while? Anyways, what im getting to is...dual battery setup or single optima?
  6. ...new pics sooner than later.....reallly interested in seeing these done
  7. suggestions? 87 4wd gl wagon, planning on offroading it but still mostly a highway daily driver.
  8. Im thinking about 2toning my blue wagon...so far ive taken off the trim and gotten black plastic trim holder things and pushed into the holes sealing them from rain and it kind of looks like rivits down the side similar to nissan trucks and such....probably going to use some of the spray on undercarriage rubberized coating on the lower half.
  9. so going to do the rear disk brake setup in my wagon and am trying to figure out what rotors and pads i should go with, will probably be either the ACDelco or Wagner brands because thats what I can get through my shops account with Oreilly. So what does everyone reccomend? Which rotors? Which pads/what type? Semi-metallic, non asbestos organic, etc...? Someone should do an official collection of reviews on this subject if they havn't, and if they have, where is it? THANKS AS ALWAYS
  10. still havn't heard anything yet, any estimate on when I should be expecting my lift? sorry to be so annoying but like i said, i went ahead and got new tires for my 15" rims that i cant use untill i lift it...and all of my tires on the car now are going to pop at any moment...had one blow out yesterday so there goes my spare...so im pretty screwed if any of my other tires go....so just an estimate would be nice...if its still going to be 3 weeks or more I will borrow a car to drive until then or something...thanks again. hope to hear from you asap.
  11. well its kind of a roar/multiple backfire/popping noise i guess you could say and it hapens consistantly whenever i let off the gas/shift.
  12. so my car is idling fine now and all but after adjusting everything my car is fackfiring alot...pretty much everytime rev up and let off and when im shifting gears. I am assuming i need to fool with the idle air screw...what should I do?
  13. so I FINALLY fixed my stalling/not wanting to idle problem....there was some small electrical conection under the aircleander on the drivers side that was disconnected...pluged it back in and like magic...it holds its idle now when im not accelerating...no idea what the connection goes to...but thank goodness its back together. THANKS!!
  14. changed out the pcv valve, air filter, and blasted out the hoses and lines and such with air intake system cleaner and after a few days ive been keeping an eye on it and there still is a tad bit of oil coming in but its barely noticeable and is a HUGE difference from what it was. thanks for all the help!!

  16. I wish that I have had one of those situations myself but no luck for me
  17. anythings possible...with enough time and money, depending on how the bead, how they seal to the rim and such...might take a metal fabricator cumstomizing the rims to fit....but like i said, with enough time and money anythings possible
  18. ...I think you mean to say something along the lines of...I too am as excited as I was standing near a catholic school girl in a plaid skirt and a white t-shirt on an extremely windy, rainy day.
  19. bump, any news? mine hasn't been shipped yet has it?
  20. lots of good arguments. about how long does it take to change the rear drums to rear disks. my drums and shoes aren't in that bad of shape right now though.....but my front rotors are warped pretty bad and machined slightly past the min so need to change them asap.
