Hi Everybody This is Jerry, this is my first time here on the new gens subarus. Well my wife got her 98 outback from the shop today and the engine is going south again only has 85000 miles on the car second engine. So the sales man made us a good deal and i mean a really good deal on a 05 baha sport. We pick it up tomorrow and with a 6 year 80000 mile warranty. We realy like the outback but had to many problems with the engine, i sure hope the new baha will be better. If i have problems i will let everybody know about it. Thanks Jerry

Hi Everybody This is Jerry, well i did again i bought another hatchback. It is a 84 GL with front wheel drive and auto tranny, the best thing it is light blue my favorite color. I know everybody is saying why because it will be a 50-50 bar top half is subaru and bottom half samari. I am building it just about like my other hatchbrat but i will have the T tops in it. I got the car well lets say cheaper than you can buy 4 subaru oil filters. The building begains next month, the plans oh the plans a really good day. If nobody buys my other hatchbrat then my wife gets it, so if you are thinking about it let me know and get on it. Thanks Jerry

Hi Frank This is Jerry, yes i have a EA82 intake on my hatchbrat and it has a EA81 engine in it. If i remember the top hose is the stock EA82 and the bottom is the stock EA81 hose. Thanks Jerry

Hi Ken This is Jerry, Pat's brat is factory. It has the same set up as the 78 he has but 80 has the dual range tranny in it. It is the Ea71 motor has it by the dissy. and the starter is dead center top of bellhouseing. I have another friend that lives in Naches he has 20-30 gen 1 brats and he has 1 with a dual range tranny in it also with the EA71 engine. Thanks Jerry

Hey Snowman This is Jerry, i was the first one to do this project. If you want to do the math get a 86 and a 84 factory subaru service manuals. Bolth books have the psi that it takes to work the brakes. Look at the size of the brakes and the psi wow it is the same, thats why it works. Thanks Jerry

Hey Vegablade This is Jerry, no subaru didn't make a brat like that. If you look close it is a standard hatch back that i cut the back half of the roof off. Then i welded a brat back wall in so the body wouldn't flex. It is for sale at 3500.00 yeah everybody is going to say holy cow thats a lot. Not really when you stop and think how much of it i hand built. If i added up all the hours then charge 5.00 per hour i still would be in the red. Thanks Jerry

Hi Everybody This is Jerry, i was driving my hatchbrat today and i guy in a sammi was following me. I drove all around town taking odd streets going around circles sure enough when i pull into the parking lot he was behind me. The guy had to ask what is it, he never seen anything like it. Now he wants to build one he really likes it. Thanks Jerry

Hi Frank This is Jerry, if you are having trouble with the switch replace it. It's not that hard to do just takes time. I have a good switch from a 84 brat with 2 keys. To do this you remove battery cable then remove horn button then remove nut that holds steering wheel on then remove wheel then remove turn signal switch then remove 2 springs for the tilt then you have 4 bolts that takes 10mm wrench remove them and it slides off. Do the steps backwards and it's done. Let me know if you need the switch. Thanks Jerry

Hey Scoobywagon This is Jerry, if you were at the show i had a 5 speed kit with me. I make a 5 speed kit that lets you swap everything over without any cutting or welding just unbolt and bolt it back in. You need to get your drive line lenghten thats it. Let me know if you want one. Thanks Jerry

Hi Chris This is Jerry, yes i made the wheels that are on my hatchbrat. The outter wheel shells came from rock stompper. com in colordao. The inside part started out as 3 eights inch flat iron then cut them out with computer plasma cutter. Then i centered them up in the lathe welded them together. I have about 10-12 hours apeice in them and i made 5 of them lots of time. I wanted to be different and thats why i made a hatchbrat different. Thanks Jerry

Hi Everybody This is Jerry, as a few of you guys know i am building my lifted hatchbrat. I took it to the show and got alot of really cool compliments about it. If you want to see a picture it is on the older subarus title official wcss6 picture thread. The first one from Syphon click on album 274 it is on page 3 # 42. Let me know what you think. I built the 4 inch lift, the 14x6 wheels, the bumpers, and the back wall is out of a brat, the rool bar is 3 inch and the exhaust stacks are 3 inch and they do work. It has a EA81 engine with a EA82 intake and webber carb. also 5 speed dual range tranny, rear disc and LSD. Oh it also on board air for the air horn. I know other people also took pictures but i haven't seen them. Thanks Jerry

Hey Tim This is Jerry, it sounds like your fuel pump relay. It should be a black box about 2x3 inches and 1 inch thick with 5 or 6 wires comming out of it. That small box is on the left inside of your car by the hood release cable. My brat do that had to hot wire it or bypass the box. Thanks Jerry

Hey Nutt7 This is Jerry, i hope you haven't setteled yet because it wasn't your falt. When her insureance adjuster doesn't give you what you want for the car. You tell him or her fine then repair my car or i will see you in court. Tell the adjuster i have more time than you do, you are not going to screw me out of my car. Her insurance has to repair it or give your fair market value not what they think it's worth. I know it happen to me last year to my 86 light blue brat, it took the insureance about 3 months to finnaly give me my price. Thanks Jerry

Hi Eric This is Jerry, that's a no brainer go to the show. The show is only 1 time a year and there is alot of soft ball games. This is going to be the biggest show yet and like you say subaru all the way. Also tell her there is going to be alot more different kinds of mods of subarus.
