i was wondering what parts i would need to install a byb 3/3 or 4/3 lift on an 88 gl wagon. i'm just not sure what else i will need besides the lift kit. one more thing? are those suspension or body lifts? i presume they are body lifts.
you've got a nice rack! all joking aside, that is just way too small for my wants/needs. not a bad idea though, but half the fun in subaru modification is in the fabrication. plus i don't like to deal w/e-bay any more than i have to
yeah man, thats exactly what i needed to know. i think i'll go with the first option. it sounds a little stronger and a lot more cosmetic
thanks bruddah:grin:
well, hell toybuilder. next time you come up for a trip to see your buddies, maybe we could do some wheelin. whenever your comin up, just drop me a line
I've been considering wheel options lately and came across a post on this board about drilling out chevy 6 lug wheels to fit a soob.
i was wondering if anybody has tried this and just how safe and sturdy they are.
I have an 88 gl wagon and i want to put a roof rack on it. the only problem is that my particular wagon doesn't happen to have one of those little dinky cargo racks that came on some of the gl's.
The problem is I don't have the mounts, or taps or whatever the little things are that you bolt a rack on with. My question is how would i go about installing a rack without these pre-existing mounts.
Any input at all would be extremely helpful. Thanks.
The shop's 5 miles into utah. It's a friend's dad's. not a business or anything, just tools, tools, tools.
wyoming is undescribably barren in the middle of the state, especially all along 220.
Wyoming Subaru owners do it in the prairie:brow:
Sounds like evanston is pretty close to everyone. i would definitely like to have the first wyoming subaru challenge. west side of state, maybe some utah too. i've got a buddy w/a wicked garage/shop in evanston . We should give it some thought for next summer.
i was just as surprised as most of you to find that there are fellow subaru enthusiasts across this barren state.
Anyone know any good trails a little closer to casper? not just good whelling spots, but some all out rugged trails.
until next time, keep climbin:headbang:
