EastCoastEJ22T Posted December 5, 2009 Share Posted December 5, 2009 So i need to pick up a pair of oil pans, one for the 95 "L" 2.2 and the other for a 98 "GT" 2.5. I can pick up a new H6 oil pan from a friend for dirt cheap. But i think it won't fit? My question is are all the EJ pan's the same? Or do i need to order a specific pan for the 2.2 and 2.5? Or do i need to order a specific pan for the 2.2 and 2.5? the 2.5L pan is larger, but i here it is interchangeable with the 2.2L pan. i would not use the smaller pan on the 2.5, less oil, but using the larger one on the 2.2 is probably ok. Man - you need two oil pans? What are you doing up there!?!? I have an H6 and the oil pan certainly looks a good bit different. I'd be interested in buying that H6 oil pan if you don't use it, let me know.
