July 5, 201015 yr well, I picked up a b arn find literally today. a couple weeks back I was getitng some barnboards to use for a future project, and there was an old motorcycle laying in the barn. this weekend, I saw the barn owner, and I got the bike for free. it's missing the seat, the gas tank, and the side covers. will need most of the lighting replaced and the gauges, but it should be a fun project. the exhaust is really good shape. no idea how long it had been laying in the barn... it's a 1972 Honda CL175 Hopefully it'll look like this when I'm done....
July 5, 201015 yr Nice find ! Those little bikes are great. So yours has those same scrambler pipes? "Clubman" bars would do it nice without the pain of clip-ons.

"Clubman" bars would do it nice without the pain of clip-ons. yeah, the CL was the scrambler model with the higher exhaust pipes for better "off-road" capability. since mines been laying in a barn, the pipes still look awesome. no rust!
July 20, 201015 yr Nice score, one of my fav series of Hondas. Friend of mine when I was a kid stripped a 250 Scrambler for dirt. That thing was a beast.

August 2, 201015 yr Author i have an oldschool 1975 xl100. if you find interchangeability on parts. let me know.cheers, brian the last year for the CL175 was '73, and I've been having a hard tine finding any interchange info... looks like the 72-73 were the same... maybe 71... I've picked up a couple of things so far, but haven't done anything yet as I've been working on Grizzly and my '72 K20... picked up a complete wiring harness for the bike and a set of side covers primed and ready for custom paint.... it's at least in my garage staying dry...
