November 25, 201015 yr After 7yrs it was time to change it up abit.. First was the factory bumper cut up to give more approach clearance. I painted the bumper with Plasticote flexible bumper paint (black). After painting the bumper I had a flashback from '04. I spotted 'THE NORTH FACE ' edition outback...in all back... What the hell I just wanted a change..Looks abit meaner now .. A set of bfg all terrains rounded it out nicely... Edited November 25, 201015 yr by scoobyclimbs

November 25, 201015 yr I like everything except for the wheel-tire combo. Dainty and gnarly together just doesnt look right to me. How did you extend the spare tire basket out?

It's basically the same wheel tire combo I've had for years... the wheels were a close match to wrx wheels. I really don't care for the snow wheel look all black..and the stock outback wheels were ugly... There is no extension on the spare tire basket..I just have long x-bars to fit a cartop/basket . The basket is just a quick fab of two metal tables welded together.
November 25, 201015 yr Hey Greg, get ahold of me and I can give you some specs to make an easy 1-2" lift all on the struts. It's easy to make yourself, and gives you a bit more clearance at the diffs. Or we could fit ya with a full HighGuys 4" or 6" in kit:lol: Looking good though. I like the bumper.....too bad you lose the lights though. Move em up top!

November 28, 201015 yr man that looks good!!! Love the black on bottom. Bumper looks good, just a shame about the light holes though. Wonder about a regular Legacy bumper in place of or nice push bar. Now you just need to get it higher up .
November 29, 201015 yr Bumper looks good, just a shame about the light holes though. The light holes look good if you stick a small set of oval fog lights in them. I did that to mine after I cut it off. Looked really good until I bashed them up.
