December 22, 201015 yr i was looking at pictures on the internet of ea81's and i think i noticed that the certain modelas had "smoother" all black bumpers then my chrome/black gl10 bumper...am I crazy or are there options out there for different bumpers?
December 22, 201015 yr The top one is 4wd the other one is 2wd. For some reason they changed them between the two, they also have a differnt mount to the car. -SB

Oh yeah forgot about that too, mostly because the chrome bumpers were rotted and really bent on my 82 4x4 wagon haha! I just made some tube ones they look pretty cool I even got the stock ends to fit!
December 23, 201015 yr '82 and earlier are all chrome - 4WD and 2WD. 2WD's still have the 5 MPH shock bumpers though. '83+ the 4WD's are black plastic and the 2WD's are still the chrome 5 MPH shock bumpers. 4WD and 2WD bumpers are NOT interchangable. The mounting system is entirely different. GD

July 18, 201213 yr Looks like your 5mph shock bumper needed to man-up a little. =P someone hit it going 60mph i bought it from a guy like that except a little bit more whole than it is in the picture

July 19, 201213 yr No tailgate handle yet? im looking for one or just a whole tail gate i have two handles ones rusted out and the other ones bent from the brat i tore apart
