September 9, 201114 yr Author Couple months ago: 8 55W installed. 6ga to a fuse block, 2 relays, run off a dash fog switch from the scrap yard.
September 9, 201114 yr damn....i have the same wagon as you.....cept mines green like the chop top but it rains alot here so wouldnt be good for rust.....time for a little lift? some bigger tires? maybe a side exhaust? lol j/k on exhaust.....but itd be pretty sweet
September 9, 201114 yr Author I took the snorkel off when my truck broke down and I registered it. Yeah I wouldn't chop it if the body was good. This car is only supposed to last until next summer, but it will probably keep going.
September 13, 201114 yr Why hack it up? I understand having a beater car, but just hacking it up for no reason? It's not like it's more functional now, in fact it's less functional :-\ To each their own, but I don't get it... But good deal on the car man!

It's kinda like the car Ricky drove in the Trailer Park Boys. I drive it the same way too. Edited September 13, 201114 yr by Dylan
September 13, 201114 yr Just because a car is a little beat is no reason to trash it/ blow it up. But to each their own.
September 13, 201114 yr Scratching my head as to why the tail gate was cut in half, then the upper window portion moved forward and rebolted, after a section of the roof was cut away. What purpose does this serve??
September 13, 201114 yr Author Scratching my head as to why the tail gate was cut in half, then the upper window portion moved forward and rebolted, after a section of the roof was cut away. What purpose does this serve?? The hatch didn't open when I bought it, so I just cut the roof. The window still opens and a board slides up and out.
September 13, 201114 yr The hatch didn't open when I bought it, so I just cut the roof. The window still opens and a board slides up and out. That's not how I would fix a hatch that doesn't open... but I guess it worked... In a way.
September 13, 201114 yr WTF is with all the Negativity in this thread? I think it is fine whats been done to it.
September 14, 201114 yr To the OP... I am not baggin' on you, I am just curious on why you did what you did, that's all. And I agree that we shouldn't be so negative about what someone does with their car, not really the spirit of USMB. That's what Nabisco is for I was just curious the WHY, even if I don't get it or wouldn't do that myself. At least there was a reason to cut up the hatch, it didn't work. So now I at least understand where the urge came to start cutting
September 14, 201114 yr Maybe we could turn this thread into a "You show me yours, I'll show you..." Here's my present Sube. and this is NOT a beater, THIS IS MY REAL CAR!!! (Note the front-left fender as well as the rear...)
September 14, 201114 yr Perhaps Dylan I could bring mine out to your shop for some custom work... I know, it'll cost, but it's worth it.
September 14, 201114 yr I will justify my negativity. You hacked up a semi-Ok wagon for some ghetto'd out baja.
September 14, 201114 yr Actually, I thought it was funny that in the one pic from the rear it looked like a sedan with the rear trunk off. One person's ghetto is another's home... "So they loaded up the hacked-off-rear ghetto trailer-park Suby And they moved to Beverlee!!!"
September 14, 201114 yr I will justify my negativity. You hacked up a semi-Ok wagon for some ghetto'd out baja. These cars are everywhere, go to any junkyard and you will find a bakers dozen (13 or more) So what if one has gotten hacked up? Its not like hacking up a Brat or 3-Door which the West coast guys seem to do plenty of. Yeah, someday these cars will be in short supply, but for the time being, their safe.
September 14, 201114 yr Author I will justify my negativity. You hacked up a semi-Ok wagon for some ghetto'd out baja. Whatever this car is meant to get a beating. The entire floor pan is dented so the car is a waste.:-\
