January 16, 201214 yr a very warm jacket. That was my solution for two years before i got my s*** together and did the heater core.
January 16, 201214 yr That was my solution for two years before i got my s*** together and did the heater core. amen to that. That's been my solution before as well. Another quick fix was sunglasses and a hoodie when I temporarily had no sun visors. Either way just to be clear to the OP just trying to lighten the mood with some humor I hope you get your heater sorted out!
January 16, 201214 yr Are you saying that you literaly don't have any of these things? The place to start would be getting the parts you need. Or if you do have them: Check the heater blower motor, mine was in need of replacement. I thought it was burnt out, turns out it just spun very slow. Put in a new fan motor and had perfect working heat.
January 16, 201214 yr Chances are the heater core is OK. You won't get much heat out of it if the fan doesn't run, so fix the fan first. Check the fuse, the relay, the speed control switch, resistor block (maybe it is unplugged?), and the fan motor. Once it is running, then you can see if there is hot water in the heater core. My bet is on the relay under the dash being the culprit.
January 16, 201214 yr ...My bet is on the relay under the dash being the culprit. I Agree, absolutely. Check this writeup about how to Swap those Relays: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=90403 I Hope that can Help. Kind Regards.
