Also I was driving to see the boys at Nvauto and I seen a gc impreza on top of another car scrap yard ! so I found the rims I wanted for a steal 250. So I sent them out to the sand blasters to get ready for the powder coating. I'm thinking world rally blue color for the rims

I don't know where I can put a intercooler in this car

I fit one from a Saab 9000 in the front of my GL-10 wagon. Inlet and outlet go under the lower radiator support, may be a clearance issue for you once lowered. I deleted the AC condenser, the hood latch, and put holes through the 86 front bumper behind the license plate to let some airflow through. I also had to trim the inside of the grill a bit so it wouldn't rub. I'd take pictures, but I'm 2,500 miles away from the car. If I can fit that in, you can fit a normal size one in.

It was this intercooler: 16" tall x 25" wide, more at the inlet and outlet.

Hurry up and get it in the car already!:banana:

LOL i know soon it will be in haha ! im only one man band over here :).. still on the way is the clutch coil overs and my new vi-pec and wiring harness.

rims are getting powder coated then tires to come in im all most ready to strip it down

what's your plan for the coilovers? Custom mounts for the rear and GC8 Pillowball/camber adjustment plate deals for the front?

  • Author

HSD coil overs gc8 up front, rear from what I see like suberdave has done legacy or new age impreza which is the same for the rear I have them on order so they will be in soon.

New age imprezas use a post type mount instead of a three bolt/pillow ball type mount like the fronts use?

  • Author

Ya I seen that part, I'll drill new holes or drill them in the plates will see once I get there. Also need to make a brace plates and weld a bar to fire wall also for extra strength. Also making a H brace like the impreza have

That was a question actually. Oh well, you're talented enough you will get something to work. Make sure to post lots of pictures!

Thanks man, it comes in handy That's for sure

You, sir, have great taste in motors AND cars! (I love the P1800 but especially the TR6!)

And this is the blueprint for my swap in a 91 Loyale (albeit, without the turbos ;) )

Keep up the good work!

Nico,

This may be for another thread but do you have any future plans for your XT6? A build of some sort?

If not, have you done anything to it yet and if so, what? Thanks!
