when it gets warm out, i pull the legacy apart for the rest of my parts to go in the

So lemme get this straight....

You're gonna take a PRISTINE GL-10 sedan, 5 lug swap it, ej22T swap it, 6 speed swap it, put WRX brakes on it, and drive the livin' hell out of it?!?!

SWEET!

I'm speachless, and I ain't sure why, it's either the end of a pristine GL-10, or the thought of what's about to happen to it .....

I like it...

when you are ready to put the R180 rear diff in that thing. let me know ill build you some hybrid axle shafts. or sale you the parts you need to build your own. see ===> http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2039248&highlight=suberdave

and

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2048240&highlight=suberdave

that thing will be one sweet ride...

however you are going to want some better brakes on that than just the XT6 brakes. talk to me about putting the turbo leg brakes on it.

and the 6 speed trans will not fit into a 86 trans tunnel, without modification. but im sure it can be done. it fits just fine in an 87.5+ GL.

i will be watching this thread. will be a sweet build.

i was under the impression that 85,86 bumpers were the short ones and then in 87 they got longer(read: turn signals in tunnels). is the gl10 an exception? wrecked in its short life? sweet build btw:popcorn:

This bumper is still different the 1987 bumper. If you notice, there is a bumped up ledge on top of the bumper, and the Blinker canals look to be two piece? Strange!

^ sorry I'm new to all the old stuff but what part are you gentleman talking about that is rare ?

.......Can I have your GL-10 guts? :) lol

Do I have a deal for you depending on what happens, would you be interested in buying the motor and tranny ? And to top it all off I have a spare motor and a spare tranny because a very long time ago I had a Xt turbo which is the same and you could have that free in the hole deal ! So 2xmotor 2xtranny I need space and I'm being buried alive under it all.

you live in NJ and I have a cuisine that lives right over on your side Ny. So if we did agree, I'll tell him to come get it and you can pick it up on your side :) !

The popular opinion agrees this car is rare due to the low mileage, clean condition, combined with a low year and model package. IT is worthy pof showroom collection.

As far as building up a car, one could find grandma's ld gl that diesd from lack of oil changes, and doesn't necessarily hae to be turbo to begin with.

Do a proper clean build, and leave the appearance and interior of the car as stock-looking as possible.

Did you pay a ridiculous price fr this car?
