Whats the best alt. for brat seats? The person i bought mine put a first gen on the passenger & didnt even mount it! (NOT TO MENTION IT WAS THE DRIVER SIDE HE PUT IT IN) so its kinda anoying. Any suggestions?

That depends on if you want to do work.

 

Mine came with modified XT seats. I'm in the process of replaced those with SVX seats.

i dont want to mess with welding anything rite now, plus i plan on finding a pair of original seats in the years to come

Have been, there was a Gl & DL down here but never got around to get them

I've gone with seats from an escort in my ea81 wagon. It was fairly easy. I used front seats from a `97 escort wagon, would have liked some from a GT, but couldn't find ones that would match. Then use your stock ea81 seat rails, and oval out the rear holes about an 1/8 inch. Then simply install them on to the escort seats. It was super easy, and they are much more comfortable

 

Also a direct match for the escort seats is mazda mx3

 

I used to have an mx3 that came with no seats so i put escort seats in. Later i got the seats back from the p/o they are nice buckets that sit alot lower.

That sound pretty easy, but i dont have the driver side railing
