Anyone used 16" wheels with a lift?

Featured Replies

Found some 16" steel six lugs. and am doing a 2 inch lift. Would they work. its the right bolt pattern and good offset. But what kinda tire would I need?

Hint: One that says 16R at the end. You're a big kid, do the math and figure it out.

Well think about it, you know of plenty of people on there that have done a 2" lift with 13, 14, and 15 inch wheels right? Find the tire sizes that have been running and turn it into a 16 inch wheel size. Simple math kid.

These will work, but you will need a 2 or 3" lift, and some trimming. They have an overall diameter or 28", but is probably closer to 27.4" - as the specs are never accurate and every manufacture will differ slightly.

These will also work, they have an Overall Diameter of 27", and are closer to 26.7" IIRC. They are also cheaper then the BFGs.

My 27x8.5 Grabber AT2 is listed as a 27" tire, but is about 26.5" (Tad shorter then the Bighorns)
