Good, bitey brake pads?

Featured Replies

Looking to change the pads on my XT, I know there aren't many options available for the L/XT series, but has anyone got advice on whats a nice, sticky pad?
Im not vain, I'll take stopping over clean wheels...
I dont know much about pads and have always used whatever I had lying around in spare calipers, so this time I may treat my right foot to something good.
Thanks!

I really like the Wagner Thermo Quiet pads. They are probably a PD311 and PD314 Front and Rear.

+1 on Wagner Thermo Quiet pads

can you run stickier tires? that will help.

put the following on your list of candidates;

Centric Posiquiet ceramic

or

(since you said you can tolerate a little dust) StopTech Street Performance

(I've bought them from both RockAuto and KNS Brakes)
