I have always loved rockauto. best prices and easy interface. But when it comes to our shocks their stuff is a freaking jumble. All i need is a set of cheap rear shocks for the 93 4WD loyale wagon. What am I looking at for a part number that is correct?

crud! I was hoping for a cheaper alternative I don't have 130 to spend on em currently.

 

I'm already buying a new tank because for the price difference of having it professionally cleaned I may as well. it sat for 8 years and the buyer before me just tossed cleaner and topped off the tank and gummed the valves so bad it was dropping the followers. I don't want to chance that again after cleaning and rebuilding the heads so I want it shiny clean before it runs again.

Great info, I thought it was just me. Do you have any specific recommendations then? Sachs, Kyb, ect?

i put a set of kyb gr2'in my turbo wagon and i love them, i put a set of monroe in my carbed wagon and they suck, the factory shocks were better.. but the adjuster ring sliped so i had to replace them

anything other than kyb gr2 will disappoint you . especially if you are running a larger tire.

kyb gr2s are great, i have a set in my 80 and my mitshubishi truck and they work great
