I picked up a nice set of dual carbs for my '78 Brat with no air cleaner. I'm looking for the air cleaner or suggestions on alternatives.

 

Do these use a riser cetween the carb and air cleaner? I found one in the carand the single carb doesn't have one.

Just use two round filters... check redline's web site - they might have some with the same size opening. You could probably make an adaptor for the carbs if nothing else.

how exactly does a carb riser increase torque?

I think he was refering to a riser between the carb and filter, not between the carb and the manifold.

Yes the riser was between the carb and air cleaner.
