Is it possible to build a turbo motor(120hp) on a stock 4wd transmission?

its possible but id be surprised if a ea71 would make 120hp, even forced.

 

anything is possible with adaptor kits or custom bellhousings. If youre asking if the stock trans will hold it, for awhile, if youre nice. I know guys with ej engines running gen 2 4speeds still

both of those wagons have turbo ea71 motors

well, the orange one would have the turbo to drive the alternator , yeah ?

Are there any turbo/bigger motors that drop in?

With some work you could put an ea81/82t in, but at that point you might as well cram an ej22/20 into it, pretty sure you have to cut frame rails but it's not extremely intense fab work

I thought ea 81 motors dropped straight in?
