Looks mint and brings back memories! I've seen a few like this around back in the day, JDM imports with all the options. None lowered though!

Well since I have a ton of subaru parts collecting dust and rust lol... ill use what I have accumulated over the years to make something simple and fun as my daily driver..

EJ22T block rebuilt all stock

EJ20k DOHC heads with EZ30 shimless buckets

S204 Oil cooler

V8-V9 twin scroll turbo

Vipec/link plug in ecu

91 Turbo Legacy 5mt wiring hole thing front to back Stock

91 Turbo Legacy 5mt 3.900

V8 STi rear R180 3.900 diff

XT6 Oem radiator Spal fans

should be fairly light and with a good power band pretty quick daily driver..

first think on order is clean the EJ20k heads then off to the machine shop for a CNC clover less chamber.

i swapped out the intake manifold with a spare V8 STi and intercooler that i had kicking around

she fits like a glove and will have A/C

all most done now ready to bring it to my buddy Nam at NVauto for a nice clean stock ecu wiring job so it runs for a very long time

It really looks Beyond awesome, pretty clean retrofitting, and is Awesome that you'll keep the A/C. It is interesting to see two pairs of Subaru Original Halogens there.

Kind Regards.

Love it. Should have come from the factory like that.

so once you finish building all my dream cars I get to keep them right?  :brow:

wow... Extremely Nice work! I agree, the retrofitting looks clean and spot on! And all of those parts straight outta Japan! Arrrgh!
Can't wait to see more!

Just needs a 'letter box' now ... :D

Keep at it.

Ciao, Bantum ...

so here is my new ECU in place and super clean job from my buddy Nam at NVauto

23232991443_7c72df9e27_c.jpg

and of course I have OBD 2 now lol.. simple easy spot to put it in all most looks factory

23564070200_6d0f879b7f_c.jpg

dont want to but if i want to cool the intercooler something has to give.. maybe maybe front mount the top mount so it looks stealth out on the street..

so after getting all the wires and the car running last is the exhust set up.. here we have the oval 3" tube so it dosent scrap and then to the CoastFab muffler all is 304 SS tig welded at NVauto

23491882939_0cca51be64_b.jpg

so old school Subaru had the oil pressure on the dash, so I really wanted to get it to work so I have a gauge in the car.. after try many different ways I said F it off to the machine shop to cut this pipe thread down to the proper oil plug size..

top is original part bottom is after, fits like a glove and works perfect in the dash now

so after getting the car all done I had a problem with my R160 WRX 4.444 axles popping out the diff because there to short.. had to raise the rear and not drive around corners so fast to keep the axles in place..

23232604953_1b903c886d_c.jpg

so after building my other Leone with the V9 STi 6mt and R180 3.900 diff and having no problems at all.. I decide the only way to make this work easy is to find the most rarest diff Subaru made R180 4.444 = GC8 22B or TypeRA-R GC8.

some how some way the local JDM shops in Canada had one on had that no body wanted :D

22B R180 4.444 mechanical Monster !

23776912871_3960a74f76_b.jpg

also got my anttic rims 4x140 machine hub rings so no more shakes at 100kms and beyond

Not to clog up Nico's thread (insanely fast btw) but that's almost identical to mine minus the H-type wheels and red TURBO decal on rear doors! Mine was an N-reg 1987 GTX turbo with the 3-speed auto and switchable 4wd. No centre diff so FWD on tarmac. Torque steer was crazy!

The paint on mine was wrecked too, that blue didn't age well and I think it contributed to the terminal firewall rust in mine.
