April 23, 201510 yr I bought a set of headlight guards to help avoid cracked headlights (i've had this happen twice in a year). I kept blowing bulbs because of water getting in. Apparently, I ordered "smoked" Wade guards by accident. Now that I have them, I think they look good and will keep them. Will prob get stronger bulbs now. At least they will be protected ;-)
April 23, 201510 yr I like them! It's a good idea to protect the glass. Do you have a part number or a link and do they come in a clear also or only "smoked"? Thanks for posting! Cheers.
April 23, 201510 yr noticed this at the junkyard on a vehicle, plastic rubber piece that goes infront of the headlight, also interested! have lots of chips on mine

April 24, 201510 yr is $35-$39 cheap? seems a bit high to me but then again im surprised they even make them for our cars.
April 24, 201510 yr Home made grill guards , cost = $0. The $40 ones definitely look better, but if you are a cheapskate like me this is what you end up with.

April 25, 201510 yr Author Can you post up a pic of how they attached over the top of the light, and also how far around the side they go? I'll attach some other photos I have that I took today to this reply. I can post a more detailed image for you next time. But its a perfect fit and just snap onto the headlight assembly. Its a 2 minute thing. Simple.
April 25, 201510 yr i ordered some clear ones and will get here tuesday, will post pictures if no one has yet.
April 29, 201510 yr if anyone was interested in buying some for themselves, heres some pictures of the clear ones, if you need a specific picture, let me know and ill gladly take it. overall im pretty satisfied.
April 29, 201510 yr They dont make em' for the older dual square headlights like the ones on my 84 wagon do they? I might consider getting some if they did. Edited April 29, 201510 yr by Sapper 157
April 29, 201510 yr i dont think so, they might work with the other one as long as you pay attention to the clips on the top (first picture) and i know the parking light is different than the big beam but as long as they have the same curve as the big beam one, it might.. ill eventually test that theory out in a couple of weeks or months when i get sealed quads from somewhere, but then again, why would you want a cover for quads if its a headlight as a whole, unless you have ebay conversions to take regular replaceable bulbs.
