Any ideas on an epic trip to Evans this year?

 

Brian,Jesse, Jeff? Anybody got thoughts want to start planning? I will drive of from OR again this year and bring a few others with if I can.

I'd dig meeting up with you guys there and leading a group up 197.  Late June thru July and early August I'll be able to get away for a weekend.

I met a guy Friday night at PIR with a silver Loyale with EJ22 swap and told him to keep a look out for details on this trip. The weekends of 7/11, 7/18, and 8/15 are about all I have left open after family and rally obligations.

Oh Hecht yeah. I'd love if you WA guys would come down for some browns/TSF wheelin.

 

But I thought Evans is closer to most of you but not all the way up to walker for those of us coming from Oregon.

 

7/18 would be a good day for me.

Yeah, Evans is in the middle, kinda.  I went down and met up with Subarus years back and played at Browns Camp.  Good times, super sticky yucky mud.  I got a ticket on the way for not having mud flaps on my hatch back.  lol

I'm up for Evans. 7/11 or 8/15 would be best for me. A trip to Oregon could be cool too tho.

Looks like I need to put a rush on the EJ swap.  I would be down for this.

If things on my brat start falling into place they way I think they will it might be up and running in Augest.When I clearanced the rear fenders I paved the road for mounting the rear diff,fuel tank, and various braces to happen.Its a similar story up front, now I know where the suspension pivots need to go, but first have to make the tube front end.Hell I might even temp fate and start working on stuff tonight-at least until the cops get called...

So are we gonna do this? I'm in for camping or just a day trip. Need to go wheelin tho, it's been way to long! Haven't had my car out since the subie show last year. Anyone else up for it?

Sorry, have had connectivity problems since the day after we went to the hills.

 

Only Jesse showed up.  Turned out to be a big poker run, some 60-70 rigs, mostly jeeps and few toyotas.   Jesse fell in line with the guy I was with, made the entire poker run without a hitch.   Two jeeps broke, he went right past the spot that got them.   I only got to tug him once.

 

No action pics, we were hauling too much rump roast to stop.  Great times, you all missed it that didn't show up for whatever your reason.  

 

 

 

We got to pull this guy back on his wheels.  Finally got to use my snatch block.
