June 14, 200421 yr WOW thats a hard tech inspection to pass! Not hard to pass UNLESS you're in the comp class. The street/trail class is pretty straight forward. Make sure the battery is clamped down, seat belts are in place, there's a fire extinquisher (which you should have if you wheel anyway) and a helmet. Roll cages are ONLY required for non hard top rigs and pick up without doors. Oh year, you have to have insurance to be in the street/trail class.
June 14, 200421 yr BTW, even if you don't have a rig to compete, you can just come and watch! It's still free!
June 15, 200421 yr An update on the event. The course is wet, so the mud will be awesome. For you big tire, big motor guys, this is a fun event. If you're not running 35s and lockers, the big obstacle course wouldn't make sense (but nor does most of the stuff we do wheelin'. However, the smaller obstacle course would still be a blast! It's all the same stuff, just smaller. We have also picked up some great raffle prizes and decided to put these online to purchase if you can't make it to the event. http://207.202.208.243/faithwheeler...raffle_list.htm
June 15, 200421 yr Author Gibby-you would be surprised at what a Subaru can do,I can only imagine what a Subaru that has been lifted, larger tires and a welded rear end could do. Joe
June 16, 200421 yr Hey Qman, you wanna borrow my hatch to go show those guys what's up? Juat needs axles. . . It's all yours if you say the word. . . I'd do it in a minute, just to quiet disbelievers.
June 27, 200421 yr Author I have some pictures and short write here http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/showthread.php?p=992610#post992610 Dial-up beware
