What steering wheel are you guys running ?

Featured Replies

And what do you think of it ?

My OEM one is stuffed. The plastic moves around on the steel core under my hands and fills me with precision cornering prowess and confidence (not... haha!).

Switched it out today for a Nardi brand one I picked up on ebay. Heaps nicer feel and slightly smaller diameter too.

It's an 03 LL Bean H6 steering wheel from a junkyard car that had deployed airbag.

I made the custom wood center from scrap pine from Home depot that had unusual burls.

I made the Dichroic Glass Subaru logo piece also.

It's attached to the OE airbag craddle and bolts in and functions as a horn button just like the airbag module.

Oh man that thing looks amazing gloyale !!

Gotta agree, coolest custom steering wheel I've seen!

thanks.

I put alot of little bits of time on it.

Not sure how to post a picture but I have an nrg quick release hub and wheel that I got cheap on my 86 wagon. Makes the blinker a pain but prefer it over the stock wheel.

Nah, but I can tell you how.

It wasn't hard.

If you got a jigsaw, and a screw gun, a few round files and some sand paper and time.
