85 GL HITACHI part

Not computer savvy so cannot get back to a thread I was reading. Has anyone yet found part supplier for solenoid valve  AESU128-34.  Little connector piece broken on mine. Probably happened years ago when mechanic changed out carb. Has always idled high since but ran perfect otherwise. Now has to go thru Ca smog check legally and took 3 months of not finding where dangling hose belonged and one good smog check fellow to point out the broken connection. Said "get another'.  Dealer has no leads.

No, there are no suppliers. You'll have to remove the glue/epoxy from the end of the solenoid where it supports the wire and get some of the insulation off the wire. strip the other end of the wire and solder them together. Reapply epoxy to cover the solder and support the wire. Btw, this solenoid has nothing to do with idle speed.

This may have been the thread you were searching for: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/32704-egr-solenoid-valve-broken/

It looks like ski was referencing the anti diesel solenoid.

Good luck!
