Oil cooler adapters

Featured Replies

WJM has informed me that he can get some more oil cooler adapters if people are interested.

I want one. Anyone else?

Bump

This moved off of the first page quick!

A picture of the adapter would be nice. In a few week, I don't know if there will be any room in front of the radiator for an oil cooler too.

I have 2 Ea81T oil coolers still. $15 plus shipping which is $5.

Would that fit on me EA82? Maybe with a few adjustments?:brow:

IIRC, the oil cooler adapters fit all EA engines and the ER-27.

I want one, how do I get one?
I want one, how do I get one?

I got mine shipped to me. They came stock on most old Subarus over seas :) Not just the turbo models either.

anyone have a diagram of this? or picture or something of all the lines and stuff needed?

  • 4 weeks later...

a bump for those who really want one.

I want one, how much again? Plus how much for the lines and can we use any oil cooler?

PS, fitting a tranny oil cooler in front of the radiator when you have the ac condensor still there is a pain. Takes a few hours to get it all right and snug in there. Also, hook up the lines first, then mount the cooler once you know where its going to sit.

$35 shipped for just the cooler, and it does come with a pair of fittings.

No lines will be provided..as the costs shoot sky high. You can pretty much use any kind of oil cooler. I used some 300 PSI rate fuel hose, 1/2"...others have used some high dollar hydr. lines, and my future plans are braided stainles steel...not cheap.

Im going to psot a new thread about these.

OK Will, can you call me monday morning at my work? say 1pm your time? that will make it 10am my time,

Thanks again Will.

That reminds me, Mike(78skunkaroo) and I were wondering, can your dealership ship parts to our local dealership? is there a better shipping rate if you can do that? I know when I had to get a speedo cable It had to come from W. virginia.

Or are the Subaru dealerships like the harley dealerships? all sort of seperate but still able to look up each others inventories?

Thanks

Alex
