make fog lights stay on with high beams?

Featured Replies

whats the easiest way to make the fog lights stay on when the high beams are on? i have a 2001 outback. i dont really want them to run all the time only when the headlights are on and on both low and high beams.

they are not supposed to be on with the high beams..

fog lights are meant for fog conditions, period. they are designed to spread the light close and low so you can see road markings in the fog. and you should never be using high beams in foggy conditions..

if you want something more, then you want driving lights, not fogs, and those would need to be an aftermarket add on

And the fogs also dident come as projectors and hid bulbs. So again does anyone know how to make the fogs stay on for both high and low beams

Fog lights on with the high beams will have no visual assistance to you the driver. Your eyes focus on the brightest light, which will be the high beam.

High beams defeat the purpose of fog lights.

its more of a not liking the warm up time of hids when i switch back to lows.

Have to get out the electrical diagrams.  Every circuit has: Load, Ground and Power.  I believe your power is switched by the relays in the engine compartment fuse box.  Without the car details I can't confirm.
