I looked through the calendar and posts and couldn't find anything on us Co sube owners meeting up??? It's Colorado should be tons of us Sube owners on here. So what do you all think about meeting up on a weekend soon and just introducing ourselves and hang out for a bit? Always good to hook up with other finatics to have on the local phone list.

I'll be in Laramie, Wyoming in a couple of months.. How close is that to where you live? I'll be about three hours from Denver, and about an hour from Fort Collins.

I live in Lakewood, which is about 10miles west of Denver and I know there is quite a few others on this board within 20miles of me I'm sure.

I'm 6-7 hours away and I am looking for a good reason to make a trip down to Colorado.I know Shawn just moved there and I do believe Eyesore is there as well.Has any one heard from Eyesore lately,I haven't seen him on the board recently.Sundays work best for me.

I'm all for meetin a few members. I'm in Laramie, soo from responses maybe a midway meet up would be good? about 30 minutes for some pretty good back country crawlin!

I talked to Eyesore on the phone the other day, he is a parts delivery driver for a Lexus Dealership. Sounded like a great job.

 

Im game for meeting up with the locals now that I am one! Last years Colorado meet at Red Rocks park was nice, maybe we could all meet up there again.

I usually get up there once every year or two.. Maybe next time I can time it around one of the meets

Red Rocks is cool, there are tons of places to meet up. Oh and Shawn I just got your phone message today, accidently left my phone in a server room at Coors and didn't find it until yesterday. Sorry I couldn't help out unloading. Glad to see people outside Colorado wanting to come down to, and I know there is a few more Co people lurking around and not posting in this thread.

I am guilty of lurking and not posting in this thread. If the time and place are right I'll be there. Red Rocks sounds like a good place to meet up.

Ya Ya, I'm in too! Any chance of doing some wheelin? I'm not well versed on the Front Range but would love to get out and rally!

If there is any off-roading going on I'd need to find someone to ride along with.I would come down in my 2wd wagon since Midwest Meet 2 killed the auto in my Brat and she is in for a major redoing.

I'm all for a meetup...

Don't think my 2wd DL is up for any wheelin' and wife is not going to let me take her wagon. I could always bring my truck (might not be a bad idea if one of us got stuck, but does defeat the purpose of a subaru meeting). Could always leave the 2wd at the bottom and ride with you 4wd guys. We should start setting a date/place. Suggestions?

 

 

P.S. All you guys keep a look out for a decent XT Turbo for sale for me, not worried about the motor, but rest of the car should be in ok condition. Always looking for one, have BIG plans for when I find the right one.

Was thinking maybe mid September? 11th or 12th, maybe 18th or 19th?

But I'm only saying that cause I'm lazy and that would give me time to finish the body work and repaint my car before hand...

Red Rocks was a good suggestion, or we could meet up more north if the majority that would come are that direction.

For future possible wheelin' times, I used to live in Bailey and know most of the popular spots on the 285 corridor, and a few not so known ones. Would be kick rump roast to go wheelin with a group of subes.

I'd be intertested if were talkin the north area. Its a little closer to Wyoming, I can't afford a long distance meet. I'm movin to Cheyenne this weekend, but its still only an hour away from some good ol crawlin in the Rockies.

September would be rad. I too need time to finish odds and ends and would need the time to plan the trip.

I'm new here but have been over at the http://www.xt6.net fourms for a little and on the newsgroup forever. Anyway, If you guys wouldn't mind keeping me posted on this I'm game. I'll bring my lowered Xt-6 so no "wheelin" for me.... but I can run those sweet mountian passes.

The only down side is if theres going to be any 4 wheeling I can't join you on that part as I do not have reverse at this time need to rework linkage

Well after looking at Red Rocks schedule of events looks like the 18th is our only possibility in Sept on a weekend. Lots of concerts going on during Sept. Figure we can meet up around 12-1pm if that's good for everyone, and just meet & greet. Maybe go for a caravan to the local Hambuger Stand (5-7 miles from Red Rocks) and fill the parking lot full of subes for some food.

So....

 

Sept. 18th Meet & Greet around 12-1pm @ Red Rocks (parking lot to be decided) Length of event is undecided and will go as long as we want to.

Possible Caravan to local fast food joint after...

Enough show & we can discuss future get togethers and adventures.
