Turbo wagon at Pull a Part

Featured Replies

An '89 turbo wagon showed up at Lynnwood PAP yesterday. Other than the turbo assembly, it's still reasonably intact. No fancy wheels of LSD diff. But it is 4WD with an automatic tranny. Seems to have recent shocks all around as well as front axles. Gen2 heads with evidence of recent work on the driver's side of the engine.

Car was not wrecked. Yes, the rear disks are still there as of today.

No rear sway bar with an AT, remember? You have one in your driveway right now :-p Its too far away and not good timing tho. The motor sounds like its a possible core maybe.

Is the car wrecked Ed?

Car was pretty high mileage for a turbo...over 200K on the odo. Must have been running pretty well for the previous owner to do shocks, axles and some engine work.

Well, its either the engine or tranny thats bad. But considering the engine just had work done on it, who knows?

Well then it just could be the tranny. Maybe thought it was going to nickle and dime them to death, so they got rid of it when it stopped shifting right. I wish I could look at it, but I just cant do it :banghead: Stupid addiction

At 200k the engine is just getting broke in ( ), the 86 sedan that I just sold had over 235k and was running fine when it left.

I could swear I looked under there and didnt see one  I might have been more interested in the diff  I've been trying to get a sway bar for months

Talk to me at WCSS6 and I'll go back and look at the two turbos in the yard and see if I can pull it for you.
