October 5, 200421 yr I found a set of 14" steel Pug wheels off of a '85 model for $25 a wheel is that resonable or a bit steep for old steel wheels?? Thanks.
October 5, 200421 yr The going rate on the Board is $100 plus shipping for Pug steelies. Check some old posts in the Market forum for confirmation. I found a set of 14" steel Pug wheels off of a '85 model for $25 a wheel is that resonable or a bit steep for old steel wheels?? Thanks.
October 5, 200421 yr It depends............ How badly do you want or need them and what is the availability of them in your area. I would gladly give $25 each for Pugs. The guys on the left coast would probably only give half that. Thats the basics of what it boils down to. Later, Tim
October 5, 200421 yr Location, location, location. I just got a good deal from Austin, and had another from Ed Rachner on pugs. The shipping boosts the costs, but they just aren't available here, so they are cheap at any price.
October 5, 200421 yr $25 per wheel is not bad at all if they are straight.. Thats about what I paid for mine. Pug owners charge each other a hell of a lot more that that. When I had my 505, the average price from other pug owners was $50-$65 per wheel:rolleyes:
October 5, 200421 yr whoa, this makes mine sound terribly cheap. got a set of 4 with all centers, 3 beauty rings, and all nearly new tires for $40 at the local pap. so, i'll agree with the location system -mike
October 5, 200421 yr $20-25ea is a reasonable price. $10ea is a deal, and free is a steal Would be handy to get a 5th to use as a spare. Its no fun to have 3 14"s and a 13" spare on. -Brian
