We should have a champagne toast, but sorry no open bar. We are paying for the wedding out of our pockets for the most part and that was just too expensive. Not to mention its a historic building and some things cant be served there (no kegs, no red wine as examples)

Don't have my 2005 calendar yet, what day of the week if 3/5/2005? Anyway, I'd be staying the night down there and coming home the next day. What part of downtown is the church? Me too, and I can suffer (and I do mean suffer) thru being at one for only two reasons. Weddings and Funerals.

Dont let Shannon read this (as I dont know the exact time).... but I believe we will be doing stuff from 6:30-9:30 at the longest... its not a religous service, its civil.

As for people crashing at my house, SOME can, though some members from many MANY states away already have dibs on the guest room

 

And my groomsman from CA has a couch. We will be in a hotel that night, I would have to ask Shannon how she felt letting people have run over our room that night.

I'm gonna try and fly out, but I make no promises, it's 18 hours or so to Portland so maybe if Jessica and I left rigth after I got outta class on Friday we'd prolly make it there in time. Wedding invitation says 5:30 PM at The Old Church, 1422 SW 11th Ave., Portland, OR. Mapquest is your friend. Jeanne and I will likely stay overnight at the Hospitality Inn which is about 6 miles away (we want to hit Costco and Fry's while we are down there).
