December 18, 200421 yr Try TNT's sub contracter "chicago express" They run off a boardand are real reasonable. Only drawback is waiting for a week or so for it to be picked up.... Kurt
December 19, 200421 yr OK I got a good bonus and with some sales recently I now have the funds for the transport of the '73 coupe from Moxee,WA to Bridgeport or Milford,CT Sorry if this is off topic.Do as you must, mods. Ben,please remind me of the hauler you mentioned.Thanks. Moosen, is this car drivable, or at least tow dolly-able? I might be heading to your side of the world soon to bring a car back to this side.
December 19, 200421 yr Its not quite drivable, at least not that distance. But it is certainly towable. I know cause I've seen the car in person, also know the owner of it. If you can do this Pat, let me know. The owners name is also Pat, btw :-p
December 19, 200421 yr Take Northwet up on his offer! If it doesn't work out, please, please, please, research car carriers very carefully. I had an absolute nightmare getting my Brat shipped from Florida to Mass., it took a month, and god-awful threatening phone calls from the driver, saying I'd never see the car again. I order to end the nightmare, I had to report it stolen because the driver was a raving maniac... BTW he had 11 other cars on the rig. Once the police were involved, he was "relieved" of his duties and the "company" flew another driver down from Chicago to complete the run... it arrived 2 days later... the new driver was as nice as the first was evil... go figure. Oh, if it does work out, Northwet, head slightly north and I'll feed you! Mary
December 19, 200421 yr ^thats messed up when I had my Rotary RX shipped it took like 3 days (but it was coming from PA) and the guy was super cool he even had to take off a couple cars (brand new BMW) to get mine off. let me find there number and I'll let you have it here it is CMP transportation 1-877-727-4267
December 20, 200421 yr Author Thanks everybody! Mary, your story is the reason I'm posting.thanks for the insight. Rob,mostly I think Pat(NorthWet) means driveable so it can be driven up onto a dolly or trailer. Sure,I'm all for any delivery method that gets it here.Time is not an issue but I'd like to get it off of Pat(the seller)'s property fairly soon. He's been an absolute saint so far but snow is coming.....I'm sure that it's a pain having an extra lump around the place. Northwet, please look over the PM I replied to you and let me know what you can do.THANK YOU!!!!!!
December 20, 200421 yr I've used these guys 3 times now with no problems .... http://www.aactionmovers.com/
