Question about hatches

Featured Replies

Did subaru make a turbo hatchback from the factory?are the ultra rare or something.i`ve never seen one:confused:

Ok,

I admit it, I got the "turbo" emblem off a Mustang.

I had it on the car for 20+ years and no one ever said a thing,

Not even the dealer!

The sad truth is there are no real Turbo Hatches, and I think there was only one fake one :-p

Glenn,

82 SubaruHummer--no place to put the "turbo" emblem

01 Forester--plenty of places to put emblems???

That SRX is very interesting. If you look close it has rear disc brakes(2wd), 1.6L engine and theres something like a heads up display on the dash. And maybe a heigth adj seat maybe?

Not to mention the headlight washer.

srx had the dual carbs 1600 stock. i thought it was for the euro market, as i first saw it in a german brochure mick gave me. your pic there looks like it's from japan, eh?

rob, it's those fender mirrors (the coolest looking thing ever).

the ad was sourced and assembled from none other than this very site.

yeah, i would guess too that it's straight out of the first asian nation to industrialize.

notice the euopeian model's lack of fender mirrors:
