Don't ask, she has no idea over 20 years later about details. And no that isn't me in the back as we have only been together about 7 years. May 25, 200520 yr So this would have been in 1985 or so...? I had no idea folks were messing with Subs back then? I have always wondered who or when the first Subie was lifted The Wheels were known as "Turbines". Never seen that design in a 4X140 Whoever did it, did a real nice job, I love the fender flares. May 25, 200520 yr Nothing special about the flares That is a pretty truck, too bad she cant remember who lifted it. To my knowledge gen1's are pretty hard to lift. -Brian
May 25, 200520 yr Back in '80 or so, one of the 4x4 mags did a project car with a gen 1 wagon. I believe they did some sort of a lift, bigger tires, winch, and maybe a d/r swap? Can't quite remember, and the copy of one of the articles I had went missing.
