August 1, 200520 yr well i know most of you don't like the styling and looks type of threads, but i having some trouble deciding on some paint options.. the blue coupe currrently has the front lip and spoiler in black. so since i now have got the rear and side RX kit i have debated a few combinations.. black spoiler and black lower kit blue spoiler & black lower kit all painted to match the car front lip and spoiler black, sides & rear blue i have an extra RX wing in white that i can get painted to match. so i can swap to my preference, but what's your input? im leaning towards the all black.
August 1, 200520 yr I like black. I've got a black air dam on my 3-door (same color as your old one) and will add a set of RX side skirts (black of course) as soon as I find some. I don't care much for the rear spoiler, tho. But I would probably paint to match the car (maybe in a subconscious attempt to hide it!)
August 1, 200520 yr Paint it all to match! I think it looks so retarded when ppl have miss matched spoilers/hoods/trunk decks/ground effects.
August 1, 200520 yr Paint it all to match! I think it looks so retarded when ppl have miss matched spoilers/hoods/trunk decks/ground effects. im with morgan, paint it all to match.
August 2, 200520 yr Brad... please dont do ANYTHING to your RX that Caboob has done. We'll maybe the shifter -Brian
August 2, 200520 yr paint to match. when its a different color it looks like you didnt have enough money for both the kit and the paint. like a honda ricer with a red car and yellow body kit... my $.02
August 2, 200520 yr Author well most people have said paint it to match, but the wing & lip came from the factory black:confused: i definitly think the wing should be painted to match. but im affraid the lower kit all painted might not match the car good enough to look good.. as there is no way im putting the $$ into this damn thing to get the whole car re-sprayed.. i just looked at pics of the ultimateRX with a painted kit and black wing. not really what i like ( sorry corky) . Oh well i just gonna go for it. I guess and see how it turns out.
August 2, 200520 yr Paint the body kit black to match your grill. Thats the cheap and easy way out. But I would suggest you paint the entire kit to match the car... including the grill. -Brian
