A-Pillar antenna

Featured Replies

Has anyone ever added an A pillar antenna like you see on the Legacy L and such cars? Im thinking about putting an 82 and 84 fender on each side that doesnt have the antenna hole and making it accessible for 4wheeling.

Probably wouldn't be too hard to adapt one from an EA82. I think the houseing just has 2 screws that attaches it to the pillar. Would obviously have to get the whole antenna wire that runs under the dash

It's just one bolt that attaches it to the EA82. Would not be hard to attach one at all. It and the antenna cable are quite easy to remove, I was surprised.

'Course, I took mine off to run wires through that hole :) .

does the ea81 have a hole at the bottom of the pillar for the wire to enter the

passenger compartment?

My brat has an aftermarket antenna bolted to the passenger side A-Pillar. I'm not completely sold on the look... but it gets great reception. I'll see if I can't remember to snap a picture of it.
